Sommelier's opinion

A red wine that tastes of Romagna. An "old style" Sangiovese just like Stefano Berti, authentic and likeable winemaker. The wine has a good structure and energetic tannins, hints of fruit and a nice acidity. The use of wood is well proportioned to give it softness and a hint of spice. We would keep it in the cellar a little longer because it shows good aging potential.
