Sommelier's opinion

A majestic, imposing, fascinating wine. To be uncorked strictly several hours before to fully enjoy its wide bouquet of aromas and its full and enveloping taste. Extremely balanced, hints of ripe fruit and toasted notes of coffee and cocoa dominate. Very persistent, it pairs perfectly with very important dishes, game, mature cheeses ... but it is always a pleasure to drink it even after a meal, as a meditation wine.
Tasted today, the 2012 vintage has not yet reached its peak and it would be good to keep it a few more years in the cellar to open it on a great occasion.
