Sommelier's opinion

There are a Formula 1 driver and a group of friends. It seems the beginning of a joke but in reality it was the beginning of the adventure of the members who brought back an old farm, born back in 1793, which over the years had been lost in the various changes of ownership. That pilot is Jarno Trulli and the company is Podere Castorani which has been reborn since 1998 and is today one of the most beautiful and dynamic realities in Abruzzo.

Amorino is the name of a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo winner of the 3 glasses Gambero Rosso award several times in which the impetuosity of the grape was well mitigated by the use of wood and the selection of some overripe bunches. The result is a soft and elegant wine, in which the tertiary scents surround the aromas of ripe fruit. It is very easy to drink despite its 14 ° and has an excellent quality / price ratio.
